Soluci\u00f3n inyectable. El cloprostenol s\u00f3dico es\u00a0una an\u00e1logo funcional de la prostaglandina F2a<\/em> (PGF2a<\/em>). Las\u00a0prostaglandinas son hormonas derivadas de \u00e1cidos grasos\u00a0esenciales (\u00e1cido araquid\u00f3nico).\u00a0El principal productor de PGF2a<\/em> es el endometrio, siendo su\u00a0principal \u00f3rgano blanco el ovario y espec\u00edficamente el cuerpo\u00a0l\u00fateo, del que a est\u00edmulos y condiciones espec\u00edficas, provoca su\u00a0l\u00edsis, abatiendo la fase progestag\u00e9nica del ciclo estral y su\u00a0permanencia durante la gestaci\u00f3n, lo que da paso a otros\u00a0fen\u00f3menos del ciclo reproductivo, que en mucho, son los\u00a0buscados en la terap\u00e9utica y que se asocian a los fen\u00f3menos\u00a0de luteolisis, aborto y parto.<\/p>\n
